Padova is not a big town. The downtown area, from North (railway or bus station) to South (after Prato della Valle square), is about 3-3.5 Km.
The historical downtown of Padova is pedestrian only (ZTL area). All streets are controlled by cameras and unauthorized driving will result in steep fines. Since many hotels are located within the ZTL area, contact your hotel in advance if you arrive by car.
Public transportation includes several bus lines and one tramway line (going across the downtown). We will post maps in due course the website is in Italian only

Parking is scarce and expensive. One of the biggest parking garages is “Padova Centro Park” (address: Via Trieste, 50, 35131 Padova)
